2. 4 Teachers.org (Teach with Technology): http://4teachers.org/ 4 Teachers.org is a site to help teachers integrate technology into their classrooms by offering a variety of online tools and resources. This site links teachers to ready-to-use Web lessons, rubrics, quizzes, and classroom calendars. Some of the tools are also for student use that the teacher can access. 3. ABC Teach: http://abcteach.com/ ABC Teach is strictly a teacher resource site. You are able to generate worksheets, find lesson plans and units, take a look at powerpoints created by other teachers, and find monthly activities, to name a few. The organization of this website makes it user friendly. All of the different teacher resource topics are listed on the home page. After you click on a topic, it lists all of the resources available for the specific topic along with a short description. ABC Teach is a great site if you need to find a resource quickly. ABC Teach is not free of charge, although some of the worksheets are free to everyone, to use the site in its entirety, there is a fee. The more people to join, the cheaper the price! It's worth it!

5. Busy Teacher's Cafe: http://busyteacherscafe.com Busy Teacher's Cafe is another teacher resource page dedicated to help make the life of a busy teacher a little easier. A few items on this site truly stand out. One is that this site is designed and run by a teacher. The creator makes the site user friendly and organized. When on the site you get a true sense of understanding from the teacher who created the website. The creator of this site also gives an award to best educational sites of the month. Many valuable sites can be used from the list that is published every month. The look and feel of this site really makes an educator relax and take a deep breath when looking for great educational resources. Grade Level: All educators, grades K-6

7. Education Place: http://eduplace.com Education Place is a site operated by Houghton Millin Harcourt Company. You do not need to be a user of their reading series or their math series. This site is open to all educators grades K-6 across the country. A huge plus on this website, is that the resources are state specific. The resources are aligned to the state standards. A user doesn't have to worry about the validity of the content. One of the most useful pieces on this site is the monthly themes. Education Place takes each month of the year and designates three or four themes that can be taught for that specific month. Most of the themes revolve around holidays, but it gives a teacher a nice month to month outline. For example, the month of October would be a great time to study explorers. If the user clicks on the explorers theme, a long list of teacher resources is brought up on the screen. This is a site that is full of great activities. Grade Level: All educators, grades K-6

8. Multiplication.com: http://www.multiplication.com/index.htm Multiplication.com is a site that strictly concentrates on the skill of multiplication fact practice. This site offers online games, printables, self-corrected timed tests, classroom games/activities, and other strategies to use. Grade level: 3-6, teacher, student

9. Internet 4 Classrooms: http://internet4classrooms.com Internet 4 Classrooms is a site that keeps the not so tech savvy teacher in mind. The site offers technology help, technology ideas, and guides the user to fantastic free internet resources. While exploring the site, you'll be sure to see the wonderful icons the site uses. They use these handy icons for quicker navigation on site. This site also offers great technology tutorials. This is a perfect site for an educator who may fear the use of the internet in the classroom. Grade Level: All educators, grades Pre-K-12

10. IXL: http://ixl.com IXL is a math skills website that is for teacher and student use. For each grade Pre-K-6 math skills are listed that should be mastered by the end of that grade level. Each set of grade level skills are aligned to the state standards. When a student uses this site, they click on a grade level and skill questions that involve that skill pop up on the screen. One pro of this site is that the student can choose how many questions of a certain skill they work on. A teacher can also set a limit to the practice problems (i.e. no less than 5 problems no more than 15 problems). This site is great for teachers to get a feel of the concepts they should be covering within their grade level. This site can act as a great guide. Discovery Education: http://www.discoveryeducation.com/ Discovery Education is a site that offers a variety of resources for teachers like videos, science topics, math skills, health topics, and an educator network. This site does require a school or district membership to access a username and password. Once a username and password are obtained favorites from the site can be stored under the “My Content” section. 12. Cool Math Games: http://www.coolmath-games.com/ This site offers math and thinking games along with puzzles. It offers math lessons on basic math skills, geometry, finance and practical everyday math. (For ex. behavior chart and lemonade stand activity, etc.) It also has parent support for tips on how to prepare your child for kindergarten regarding math readiness. 13. Noetic Learning: http://noetic-learning.com Noetic Learning prides itself in calling their site a free online math center. The site contains a lot of out of school activities that focus on home-school connections. This is a great site for students to visit over the summer. The best part of this site is the online math worksheet creator. The creator is guided toward grades 2-5. A user has a wide range of options when creating worksheets while keeping it user friendly. A plus to this website is that it is recommended by the NCTM. There are no worries about the content that is being accessed on this site. Grade Level: Math educators, parents, grades 2-5
